Good Books in Bad Times applauds the efforts of Reach Out and Read (ROR), a national nonprofit organization that promotes early literacy.
ROR is currently encouraging families tested by financial difficulties to make time to read together, and provide children with the attention, affection, and routine they need to feel loved and protected. To achieve this they’ve provided a list of recommended children’s books specifically for families during tough economic times like these.
