Throughout 31 years of publishing, HarperOne’s books have been a perpetual source of comfort for readers in tough times be they financial, personal, or spiritual. We felt compelled in this historically difficult period to start a live, running resource of helpful books with anecdotes about how they can be a force for good and a source of comfort. However in order to make this a true resource for readers we understand the need to cast a net much wider than our own catalog. So within these pages you’ll see reviews of our own books as well as books published outside our office, and we’ll gather submissions from booksellers, readers and other publishing people for Good Books in Bad Times.
